WEB PAGE DESIGN

 Web Page Design knowledge is an essential requirement for anyone who has something to say or buy or sell nowadays,
ie. everyone; you don't have to have to be working on the Internet or own a business, although this is even more vital if you do.

Acceeding to demand, we have increased the scope of topics covered for each of the courses below, (beyond eDCC* requirements). Courses are taught using Macromedia's Dreamweaver MX 2004 - the leading package for website design and development. CMD work closely with WebRemixers, our web design and development team, whose professional work is well respected and increasing in this area. Student work placements may be available with them.

All courses have Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels and are individually certified (eDCC*), allowing students to gain a certificate no matter what level they finish at. Courses can of course be tailored around specific areas.

Introduction to Web Page Design

  • Hyper-Text Mark-up Language (HTML) - Tags, Attributes, Values
  • Save as HTML and View Web Page
  • AddPage Title
  • Add and Format Content
  • Changing Text and Page Styles
  • Prepare Page to 'Go Live'
  • Adding Forms to your web page

  • Introduction to Dreamweaver
  • Design and constructing a basic two-page website

This will include the certification requirements for the eDCC*
